Good morning, I’m still reporting on the coup.
The now infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology’s (WIV) laboratory – the only level-
4 lab equipped to handle the world’s most deadly viruses - is still authorized to
receive taxpayer funding for animal research through January of 2024, according
to the National Institute of health .
Between 2014 and 2019 , the WIV received $600,000 from the NIH to study bat
based coronaviruses. The money was routed through a nonprofit group called
EcoHealth alliance.
The president of Ecohealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, was the only U.S. member of
the World Health Organization team that just returned from an investigation of the
origins of the COVID-19 pandemic in China.
