Good evening, I’m still reporting on the coup.

There was no single individual better equipped to stop this coup cold than Vice-

President Mike Pence. No one can predict how a totally proper debate on the

constitutionality of the electoral votes submitted by the individual states to the

Congress of the United States meeting in joint session for that express purpose

would have turned out. However there is no question that vice president Mike

Pence, who was then also sitting as president of the Senate, could have and

should have ordered such a debate to proceed, however he didn't. Even worse,

he claimed at the time that he lacked the authority to do so.

Pence, now desperately trying to repair the damage to his reputation, posted an

OpEd last week in the online newspaper, the Daily Signal.

Now Pence sounds like he is 100% back on our team. Should we believe him?
